He had the money and he wasn't about to let her pay a dime for their date. After paying and tipping the cabby, he ran his hand down Gin's spine and rested his hand at the small of her back, guiding her into the restaurant.
She was right though, she did have more money than he did but that wouldn't prevent him from spending it. After all, he could always make more and if the party that Sam had mentioned panned out, he'd be sitting pretty for a while.
The restaurant was small and intimate, already busy but they were able to grab the last table in the back. It wasn't a fancy place but the people were young and urban and he and Gin fit right in. "I've heard that this place has the best seafood if you like that or this curry flavored sausage? But everything here is good or so everyone at the bar says."
