Where: Athens
When: June 19th.
Rating: PG
Status: Complete
Jackson's first night at the bar had been relatively uneventful. Somehow he'd gotten through to the owner that he had been a former bouncer and the owner's eyes had lit up. Apparently there'd been a problem with drunks... or maybe it was cats, it was hard to tell, but either way Jackson had been hired to take care of them.
So he'd stood broodingly at the door and kept the riffraff out or behaved if they were paying. He hadn't gotten much of a chance to talk to Keiran the bartender except he found himself staring at him at odd times. Not in a sexual way (he liked the ladies, thank you), but in a way that made his skin feel prickly at the back of his neck. If he had hair it'd be standing on end. It wasn't a comfortable feeling, knowing that you knew this person somehow, but couldn't quite place your finger on it. He wondered if this was how an amnesiac felt around family.
Shaking away such thoughts, Jackson set out from his hotel hovel to explore Athens some more. There was supposed to be a football game later that looked interesting. He'd seen fliers for it posted by the pay phone in the bar the night before and knowing he had some time to kill before his next shift, Jackson went out.
He didn't exactly know where the stadium was, but he managed and half an hour later with a gyro and beer in hand, settled in his seat in the half filled stadium to watch a female football game. This would be the first and he was actually interested in watching. He'd grown a certain fondness for football as it was THE sport played around the world except North America so he'd learned on his travels to appreciate the game. It wasn't his favorite but he didn't mind catching a game here and there.
