She changed, knowing that the press was waiting outside. And she understood quite well how important it was to smooze the press. She showered with record speed and slipped into a light weight, white cotton sundress, leaving her hair loose, even though it was damp. It would never dry if she bound it up, one of the problems with long hair.
Slipping into sandals, she smiled at her teammates as they all seemed to be finished about the same time and pushed open the door, exiting into the throng of people. It was something she didn't think she'd ever get used to.
But as she stepped out into the mass of humanity pressing in on her, her neck prickled once more, and she turned her head, frowning until she saw him once more standing there. Blinking, she felt a bit light headed to see him. She didn't know him. She'd never seen him before. But there was still that prickling sense that she should know him.
Forgetting all about the press, she closed the distance between them with a determined step.
