Snow Title: Snow Rating:G Pairing: Cuddy/Wilson Summary: Cuddy and Wilson don't know what to get each other for V-day. Note: Written for 12_stories.
Wilson and Cuddy had only been dating for a month and Valentine's would be their first holiday together. Wilson really wanted to do something special. He thought of buying roses, but that would be a cliché. A night out to the movies? No, maybe another time. Wilson racked his brain thinking of ideas, but couldn't find any.
Cuddy wanted to buy the perfect gift. A watch or a ring? Neither. Roses? Too girly. A gift certificate? No way. Cuddy slumped down on her desk and hit her head on the desk in frustration. What was she to get him?
Wilson sighed. It was Valentine's Day. He was working late and not a gift in sight. He hadn't seen Cuddy all day and was glad of it. He had nothing! He considered making a gift in his office, when Cuddy knocked lightly on his office door.
“Hey,” Wilson said.
“Hey,” Cuddy said back. She played with her hands and said, “I don't have a gift for you.” She was expecting disappointment and instead she saw happiness.
“I don't have one for you either!”
The two laughed and she said, “Come, I want to show you something. Bring your coat.”
He got up from his desk and fallowed her. They went outside on to the grounds and sat on a bench. Wilson noticed it was snowing lightly.
“Look up,” Cuddy instructed.
Wilson did and saw that the moon was an orange-ish color, slightly red. He smiled.
“It seems Mother Nature got our gifts this year.”
She nodded. Wilson turned to look up at the moon again when a snowball hit him. He spit snow out of his mouth and packed snow tightly in his hands and threw it at her. Cuddy was laughing and she threw another at him. Cuddy took off running towards another bench, dodging a snow ball.
“I surrender!” she said.
“Fine.” Wilson flopped down in the snow and began moving his arms and legs.
