Cheesecake on Christmas
Title: Cheesecake on Christmas
Rating:G
Pairing: Cuddy/Wilson
Summary: Cuddy and Wilson spend Christmas together.
Note: Written for 12_stories.
Wilson and Cuddy walked hand in hand Christmas Day in the outside mall. Snow was falling, and there weren't many people around. This meant a movie theater to themselves, no lines at any restaurant of their choice (at least the ones that were open), and no crowds to stumble though.
Yes, this was the perfect Christmas. It was much better than eating Chinese alone, Wilson thought. They had been dating for a few months now, which gave them plenty of time to plan the holiday season. Wilson had spent Hanukkah at Cuddy's and the two decided to spend Christmas Day cruising the mall. They had bought a few things at the open stores, and Cuddy was now eating a snow cone, which was getting covered in actual snow.
“Does that taste different with snow on it?” Wilson asked.
“No, as soon as it hits it melts into water, so more water for me.” She took a bite and said, “Where do you want to go eat?”
Wilson looked around and saw a cheesecake bistro open. “There!”
“Cheesecake, for lunch?”
“Yeah, why not? I've heard they have other things, like meal-meals, too.”
She shrugged her shoulders. “Okay.”
Inside it was dead. A waiter rushed to show them their seat and hand them menus. After he left Wilson contemplated just ordering cheesecake when Cuddy pointed on her menu saying, “I think one piece of cheesecake will be enough. Look how large they are.”
“I'm getting the one with three layers, then.”
“I'm thinking of Oreo-cookie.”
The waiter came back and took their orders. When he left, Wilson took Cuddy's hands in his.
“Thank-you for spending the holidays with me.”
She blushed. “You're welcome. I had a lot of fun with you on Hanukkah and this day out has been perfect.”
“Really?”
“Really.”
They were served their cheesecake and coffee and the two said nothing else while they dined.
