Community Rule Change:

Previous Rule:
Do I need to tag my entries? If the tags you need have already been created, we'd love you if you added them yourself. However, if you don't know how, or you're missing one or all of the tags you need, one of the mods will take care of it for you :)

New Rule:
Do I need to tag my entries? Yes, if the required tags have already been created. Most of the general appearance tags are already in use, along with many character tags, but if you need a tag that isn't available, a mod will create it for you at a later date.

I've also added the following how-to:
How do I tag my entries? Once you've posted your entry, click on the little TAG icon and it'll take you to a page where you can select from all the current community tags. Just click on the one you need. If you need more than one, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on the ones you need.

Obviously, a lot of community members don't actually follow the community, so I will be commenting on individual tag-less entries and pointing to this change. After this notification, however, entries will no longer be tagged for you when existing tags are in place.

This post exists as a way of new (or not-so-new!) community members linking to any icon posts that were made before they joined us. If you have sets that you'd like to be searchable by tags, just add a link to them in the comments to the appropriate tag post. If you'd like an example, this post shows the general idea.

If you'd like to link to a set that a tag post hasn't been created for, please just comment here and I'll get onto it ASAP. Unfortunately, I'll be limiting the tag posts to appearance specifics and Harry Potter characters at this point.

Okay, given that GJ is no longer allowing people to log in, I think it's time for the community to officially open. There might be a few changes in the coming week or so, as I'm opening it without bad_username's say-so, but nothing major, so feel free to post away, and pass on the news that we've officially moved :)

Even if you don't normally watch the community, I do suggest that you keep an eye on mod posts at least for the coming weeks :)

Edit: Oh, there's been one slight rule change already, just because we had a few issues with the old community: When joining the community (or on the community opening, in this case!), you may update with your most recent set, but that's it. No flooding of people's friends-lists!
