Due to lack of time and lack of respectible games, I've decided to make that ultimate move of quitting RPG. I don't know if I'll never play again, but it's certain that as of right now I don't have the time or patience to deal with the OOC drama of crappy ass RP'ers & bullshit games that are more interested in quick shot one-liners OR random players who bitch and moan about "length doesn't equal quality" or "omg when did it all become about writing a paragraph, just because it's a paragraph doesn't mean it's good." Oh yeah, because we're all tweens sliding over ourselves to be the first to respond to the thread that start out as:

~Tiffany waited out front with two concert tickets she'd picked up last night. She saw Justin waiting and waved him over.

Oh yeah, that's what I'm talking about, and the replies are either half as long or less. What the hell happened to detail and description? Are they not teaching it in school anymore? Has no one taken a creative writing class? Does no one understand that RPG is a writing game, where you...oh...I don't know....WRITE? Oh and god forbid you find a game where there is actually activity (outside of the games where 5 people have about 40 characters between them) where people actually get along and everything is comfortable -- then a person comes in who just seems to want to rip everything apart because they aren't getting their way ;_; awww....and THEN they bring their friends in and before you know it....they ARE the 5 people who want 40 characters and suddenly have an army of BS to make everyone else choke on and give their unnecessary apologies before leaving the game while the mods are all confused as to WTF just happened because just a month ago everyone was happy and now the game is dead. Yeah you fuck-holes, thank you so much for being around to ruin everything, I know you know who you are (I have no one particular in mind here, just a general thank you to the drama llamas out there).

But I think my favorite people are the people who have 500 characters spread out in 20 different games, but bitch and moan about how they can't find a good game and need to make a new character, while on the flip side they are wining to mods about not having time to actually be active--but are bitching in vents that the games they are in aren't active....but they have found good ideas from each game and don't realize that when an actual unique game comes out that usually those thoughts are the mods--but they think it's ok to rip them off and start 'their own game' in hopes of more activity. OOORRR they are the people who start the 'riots' in good games and steal the active-good players and open a god damn carbon copy of the original game (mind you they change a few things, like the name of the town) but keep everything else...and maybe their game even does a bit better. I hate you. Not because your game does a bit better, it'll fail eventually (they all do). I hate you because you have the god damn audacity (omg it's a little big word!) to take someone else's work, call it your own, and even go so far as to TAKE AWAY ACTIVE PLAYERS. Fuck you.

Oh but then there are also the good players who bitch and throw fits about not being able to find a good game (hi), but unlike me, they don't join good games. No, they join shitty things and refuse to give good games even a try--even when the mod is going around from CDJ to CDJ trying to get people to join. If the mod is that pro-active, obviously they are going to stick around and try to make things work. OMG NO! The people who join and want everything given to them and if you don't give them the plot then they just sit there looking stupid like "well, I've never played in a game before even though I had all these samples and what-not" blow me. Just fucking blow my non existent member and choke. It's like IJ is filled with bits and pieces of components that are here to just kill games and not help them grow.

God love the mods and the players who have actually had a game last a year or longer, I don't know where the hell you are, I sure as hell couldn't find you, but god love you. Although I usually don't put pan-fan or celeb games in the 'god love you' category, but damn it to hell, if you actually have a plot, some description, and depth...then sure....love to you too.

-Scream- Hahaha! Omg that felt so good to get out, I've been bottling that up for nearly a year now in hopes I would piss off a potential writing partner...but now I don't care! To hell with you all, I hope your fingers break off so no one has to deal with your pathetic examples or role playing or your bitchy moaning about being better than everyone else (while you really suck with the best of them) and just...haha I feel so much better.

It's like the weight of you jackasses has finally been lifted.

Work has eaten me. I still have to work on bios for Unchosen and Darwinisms, as well as Unchosen itself. But I'm not sure if I should wait until CJ is online again or not since she is 1/3 of the mod team. I probably should. And I feel horrible I wasn't online to be active in DMR, and left people hanging even. Maybe when it comes out of hiatus, I can try to be more active. Hopefully everything will be much more sane and I'll be able to do more besides work and sleep.

I'm feeling very useless right now, basically. And I want to rp something and really, I should just try to focus creativity into productivity. Or something.

WHO ORDERED THE WHOOP ASS FAJITA?!

Shinobu's one-year anniversary just passed this week, and I don't plan on taking her out anytime soon. This is only the second game I've stayed in for at least a year. Orochimaru's Agenda was the first, and I was short I think a month-ish of making it a two-year term. But anyway, Paradisa's been a good ride so far, despite how much I whine and worry about how I'm doing with Shinobu, lawls. It's the biggest game I've been part of, and I'm still trying to get used to it, but no matter what the haters say I love it and I've done well enough so far. Shinobu has and is establishing CR, and muns who know next to nothing about No More Heroes canon enjoy bouncing their characters off of her. Double-digit comment counts over 30 in her posts are just about the norm now. Six, maybe even eight(?) months back I could only dream of that sort of activity. Paradisa will always be one of my fondest RPing memories, whatever happens in the future.

That said... I'm still jealous that all the other journal posts save one related to Travis's most recent lost are getting more comments than mine. Petty Ashi is petty, fuun. And I don't think I will ever shake the feeling that Travis-mun hates how I play Shinobu but is too nice to say so and Bad Girl-mun is faking loving how I play Shinobu because we're all canonmates. Paranoid Ashi is also paranoid. orz

Um, I wanted to go into another diatribe about how I want Romdeau to grow but I'm the only one who's advertising it anywhere and that makes me a sad panda, but I have work at 10 a.m. and need to be awake 8:30ish so yeah. I'll just leave off by saying I tried pimping it at app_this_plz but kind of really don't expect anyone to bite the bait. As usual. Le sigh.

So, I'm not quite sure how to do these things (socially awkward turtle!), so Imma just say 'hi' and tell you all I love you. <3

Back in Tampa, which is about 5 hours too far from the BFF. Just worked a 10 hour shift (what, so I fail at leaving ON TIME apparently) after driving for 5 hours to get home and am so very exhausted.

I really need to get on that whole moving closer thing. I don't get nearly enough BFF time.

Also, poor Narcissa misses her Ronald and all the people, I think.

JGL is hosting SNL right now! He has certainly got the energy for it, if nothing else :)
