It is 1992 and there is no doubt that there is something going wrong in the world. Military bases are being attacked and civilians all around the world are disappearing. The government team Shield is doing everything they can to keep the truth under wraps, but even they can't hide the truth for much longer. There are those out there that know the truth and they are determined to get to the bottom of thing. Several teams have been formed and each of these teams are currently working on their own, but what will it take to finally get them to work together? Which team will lead the way? Or will Magneto's Brotherhood overtake them all?

Marvel Origins is a Marvel roleplay based on the original teams that started it all. We take Comic Canon and Movie Canon and mix them together and then we get the chance to play it out from there how we see fit. Game opens May 27th!

Life changed in 1930 for every wizard and witch in London. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries.

The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust.

It's war, but no one seems to know it.

The game is set in 2001 currently. Grindelwald's is coming out publicly, eventually, with his relationship with Vlad Tepelus. The plot and arcs depend and focus on the reactions of the characters over Grindwald's decisions, his new leadership role and loyalty, and the actions he takes as a consequences that effects all. The plots also focus on relationships of current characters that unfold. Once a month, the mods plan an event for the game.

the connection with magic has never been a "new" concept. there was once a time when the world accepted magic, and the people who wielded its power. these unique individuals could raise the dead, create thunderstorms, even predict the future. but, as time went on and new concepts arose, what was once allowed and accepted ways of living life were now pressed to change. in the late 1600s, the fanatical attitude of the church took a turn for the worst. the salem witch hunts began, so the families hid, for many centuries. that is until the early 1900's when each head of family decided they would reclaim their territory once more. the families have all grown there since--each generation adding something new--staying and going as they please and coexisting with the normal inhabitants of the small town, hiding in plain sight.

It's not easy being a New Yorker. But following the wake of two world wars, the rebuilt city of New York stands tall once again. Some say that the richest are reaching for heaven, while the poorest live deep down below in the slums. But even deeper down, more people live in a city underground. Such is life in 2461.

The world as we know it, is mostly gone. Forever divided between a distinction between human and the super powered, also known as Tanks, and two more world wars, responsible for destroying old boundaries and laws, the citizens of Earth have bonded together against a common enemy of their own creation; the Tanks. But even united through a common fear for Tanks and diversion towards super powers, most people aren't even aware that Tanks are still used for scientific research. No wonder, you'll finally say, that they're still acting out.

Augustus Moselle is credited as the father of the Tanks and has gone down in history as the man who decided to play God and give evolution a hard shove up the ass. And Humanity has paid the price ever since.

It's just like any other day, except maybe on this particular day you wake up with a bit of a headache. You get up, you brush your teeth, you go to work. Or maybe you're still in bed, sleeping off that hangover from the party you went to last night. Then you start hearing a voice inside your head that's not yours. Are you going crazy? No. Are you imagining things? No. Is there actually a fictional person living inside your head?

Yes.


Reincarnation has been a world-wide phenomenon for centuries. Fictional entities taking up residence in the minds of unsuspecting people, sharing memories, histories, talents, hardships. It began in secret, but as the number of reincarnates steadily grew the reincarnate world became a community that was increasingly hard to remain unnoticed by the rest of the world or to exist together peacefully.

Congratulations, you've just become a reincarnate. Welcome to the war.


It's the year 2012, but the Reincarnate War has been waged for centuries. The two warring sides, most recently going by the names Camelot and CORE, have been locked in a never ending fight over ideals, and the reincarnate community's neutral agent known as the Agency has been trying in vain to keep the peace. Many battles have been fought, with heavy casualties on both sides. Governments overthrown, fighting in the streets and countless loved ones lost. On April 2nd they thought the war was over. In a battle that lasted the night, Camelot took down CORE in a single swoop, those that survived were put in prison, and the reincarnate community began to rebuild. The worst was over. Or so they thought.

The reincarnate community is in shambles, torn apart by centuries of warfare. The magic that brings reincarnates into the world has shifted with the supposed end of the reincarnate war. It would seem that it's no longer set on bringing about destruction, instead it's reshaping reality as you know it. Cities, planets, everywhere that reincarnates have ever been connected to are beginning to appear in the real world and everyone is scrambling to find the place that they once called home

It's not as easy as that though. CORE prisoners have escaped and are now calling themselves the Resistance. They're out for revenge as well as territories to claim, and Camelot is ready for another fight.

South Peak National Institution or Supernatural(SPN)High as it's not so affectionally called, is a place where unruly children, teenagers, and adults are sent by either by choice, their parents, or a court of law, to reform and rehabilitate their not so pleasant behaviors.

South Peak is special, taking in only the toughest cases. Weres, Shifters, Vampires, Witches, Gifted Humans and other Supernatural beings are taught to control their instincts and blend in with society. Here a talented staff of teachers, Hunters, and officers provide a safe learning environment for all enrolled. Some have rap sheets a mile long, others have been bitten and turned against their will and some were just born with their gifts. But all have one thing in common, they are all stuck in this secluded reformatory high in the Catskills. Can they all learn to coexist? No one knows for sure.

In December 2010, it began. New York City was the epicenter and gods and mortals of bygone days were drawn there. Shadows of their former selves, not all remembered who they were and none knew that their lives had become playthings for Khaos.

In March 2012, following who knows what manner of tug of war (because it is always, always a game), our gods and goddesses, our nymphs and our angels, our mortals and, yes, even our mythical animals were returned to New York City.

They do say it's the city that never sleeps. It is only natural that the city's puppet-master never sleeps, either.

You can try to break the cycle but whether you're Odin All-Father or Zeus Thunderer, whether you're a Queen of Hell or a Queen of Sparta, you will fail. Settle in, instead, and learn to roll with the punches.

HOW LONG CAN A WHOLE WORLD STAY SECRET?

  The internet lives forever and travels faster than any owl, even without the help of magic. In the technology-saturated world of 2006, wizards are in danger of finding out first-hand what the consequences of that might be. It's getting harder every day for the Ministry to protect its citizens from exposure and the old tried-and-true methods haven't kept pace with muggle advancements. Without hard work, sacrifice and maybe a miracle or two, life as everybody knows it is doomed to change forever and they're running out of time to stop it.

  There are those who don't believe revealing magic to muggles would be such a terrible thing, however. Among them is a shadowy new group whose methods are unknown but whose motives have recently become clear. They want the Statute of Secrecy overturned, regardless of the consequences, and they aren't willing to wait forever. They've already started taking steps to force the Ministry's hand and although they seem unwilling to break the masquerade themselves, nobody knows if or when that might change.

  If you're not with them, you're against them - an "enemy of wizard-kind" whose name has been posted on a list of others like you. It's a list that's growing smaller as threats are made, blood is spilled and names are crossed off once and for all.

But, all those degrees cost money and leave most people up to their eyeballs in debt. What if you could get an education for free? What would you do? How much would you sacrifice to attend one of the most respected universities in the country? Would you be willing to sacrifice it all to earn a degree?

Pearson is a modern slave/master rpg that takes place at an elite private college, Pearson University. Formerly a college accessible only to the wealthy and social elite, known as the Superiore class, it has recently opened it's doors to scholarship students, known as the Inferiore class. However, in exchange for admittance, the Inferiore students must be willing to submit to the Superiore students.
