| No, I didn't exactly fall off the face of the earth after returning from the con, even if it seems that way. Instead I jumped straight into NaNo, even if I haven't posted any of it (this year won't be too great, I can tell, but I'll see it through regardless). That's why I hate when the con is ass up against NaNo. I get no break. I haven't even gone through what I bought completely; it's still in the duffel bag. Plus I need to order some serious anime by the 9th to save a bit at RS. They have a nice sale that will let me get Gurren Lagann at a better price than at Amazon. Though Big Windup and Nabari no Ou I'll get there instead, tis cheaper. Back to my vanishing act, been writing as usual, though I have no clue where it's going. I plan to post everything I have at some point between tonight and tomorrow since I finished re-styling the fic journal. It's still locked, so comment if you want to see, (though why I'll never know). Speaking of which, I managed to switch that to an s2 style that doesn't make me puke much. I even ::gasp:: like it, though I'll be the first to admit the background probably won't go over well with everyone. And it inched a little away from blue, though I can't seem to get any further than green. Tomorrow, I'll see about making a con recap post. ::crosses fingers:: Otherwise, assume I'm knee deep in NaNo. And if nobody hears about me ordering anything by Monday, please remind me. | I'm home, been home for a bit. Still rreacclimatising. I have some NaNo waiting to be posted, but I'll add some more and start posting tomorrow. Will also post what I can remember about the con then. One little bit, that is the non-physics of airports. My larger luggage was overweight by four pounds. My other piece weighed 34 lbs. So logic dictates if I move enough so the duffel weights 38 lbs, I'd be good. So I move some, weigh the duffel, and it comes to 35 lbs. But I weight the first piece and it clears. So somehow 4 lbs got compressed to 1 lb. Don't ask me, I have no clue how that one worked out. Okay, will post more tomorrow. Have to clear off the bed which I apparently left in a mess when I took off. Blegh. | ||||||||||

| Anything I can remember about the weekend will be posted when I get home. Not that I ever get around much during these things. DR, VR, and the occasional odd event/panel here or there. But yes, saving for home. I must say, the extra day to decompress is very nice. I think I'll stay until Tuesday next year as well. Would be nice if it didn't run ass first into NaNo, but I have some pre-written to make up for the first couple of days. I'dve had more if I had remembered to save a copy of the file to my lappy. Ah well. Vidroom group has me 90% convinced to go to fanimecon in may, mainly because they're willing to put me up in their room. So a possibility. All in all, was fair. More details tomorrow or day after, depending. Cross your fingers my luggage doesn't go over weight. | ||||||||||
