The blonde and the traitor carry faces and titles and triumphs that will not be talked about and when the villains ban together to drag this world into Hell, there will only be one who will stand any chance at stopping them. But it won’t be enough. Because one is nothing when up against thousands. Millions.

Nothing you’re doing now will matter. You’re all wasting your time. You’re forgettable. Thousands will dwindle down to zero. And then zero will become one. And one will not be enough.

I almost feel bad for all of you. Almost. But not quite.

Its been a good few days. What with from my own personal fun of taking bets on when Sam Winchester snaps and goes on some kind of crazy evil power trip, if Faith stops whining and instead gives in and gets herself committed, if Spike gets over his quote unquote "Daddy issues with Angel", if Buffy wakes up and smells the replacement and kills her in an amazing fit of jealous rage, or if Phillip the accounting goat ever finds his way back home. Seriously, its adoreable, He's just like Lassie.

Hello, 2006. You're...kinda a let down, not gonna lie.

I finally finished my Holy Water Paintball Gun. It's not exactly a weapon so much as a distraction device but I thought it could be like the supernatural version of pepper spray. With festive dyes added to ruin and tag as well as cause discomfort, like bright pink, orange, purple. I think there was some neon green in there too. And yellow!

Actually, a taser would probably still be handier and not look like a gun but not nearly as colorful.

Last night, I met up with a couple of guys who were in town for the day, playing a show at one of the local bars. Used to be a stand-in in their band when one of the guys couldn't make it, broke law school student earning some extra cash beyond rent.

You know how strange it is to sit and talk with people who are completely oblivious to the supernatural existing? I don't mean the stupid kind in this city either, the ones that blatently ignore the apocalypses, shifting dimensions, and big bads. I mean the ones that don't really know otherwise, thinking that evil lawfirms are the punchline to a joke, demons are psycho exes, and the war between Good and Evil is fending off a hangover the next morning.

Nice little break but I think I'd rather know what goes on when the sun goes down.

Goddamn, that was fun! I had the best two weeks of my life recently. Before that was cool too, with the vampire, immoral speedster, and the magic boy. But my time away... ohh. I never thought I'd like Chicago so much. A few things were different. But that's okay. That's really fine, considering. He's alive. He's... there, safe. And he's alive. Though he kinda looks at me funny if I hug or hold onto him too long. I have pictures.

I'm sort of bummed that I'm here again. But hey, what can you do? Sometimes the only way to go about matters beyond your control is to just accept it, or find a way to make it better. It's good to be back, though. I can admit that much. But.. that other version of me is still here. He needs to go back where I was. I'm sure they miss him. But until then... would anyone want to come to my place and join the two of us for some fun? It's really cool. And I'll have drinks and snacks too. That is, if this other me isn't busy saving kittens and dancing in the rain.

Okay so the subway thing was funny, the creepy computer people, the anti-antichrist,  hillarious. The demon before she got all evil, beautifully tragic, The cyborg whatever having to be shot in the head by his own girlfriend, Priceless.

But this latest guy, he's killing our own. Actual important players...And all kinds of unpleasently.

Goodness. I know I ought to be less surprised... But as for why Wolfram & Hart wanted to send me to what is obviously some sort of alternate reality of Los Angeles, I'm stumped. What does this accomplish for them? It can only mean no good. Obviously. I wish I had a more astute observation, but I feel mildly disoriented right now. Makes one wish for some crisps and a nice brandy... of course, a clear head is in order right now.

If there are some familiar contacts out there, perhaps you could lend your knowledge to my baffled brain? Unless of course I'm dreaming this. In which case I suspect I'll wake up very cranky and unrested.

There's a world of difference between coming off like a spoiled brat who isn't top dog anymore and a competitive partner of equal standing who can and will keep you on your toes. Almost makes me miss having a decent rivalry.

Of course, by the standards of most places, any rivalry I'd find decent would be termed vicious and destructive. There really any other kind worth having?

It's funny, really. You stay true to your nature, what you were born to be, then get attacked later, and have your car totaled? And the kid sorta even gets away with it You're somehow at fault and look bad. I'm not too worried, I think this might blow over. I'm getting a car replacement out of this mess. But I'll keep the law firm on speed dial anyway, just in case. I'll work behind the scenes. Nothing public. Perhaps I can stage a grand event such as a legitimate fundraiser. Or something.
