Depends on what you mean by work.

I have an unwilling source of information, a limited amount of time, and normal means of persuasion aren't doing it. So any way that would let me know what he's been up to the past couple of days.

So you're looking for a means of forceful extraction?

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Method doesn't matter as long as it gets me some answers.

Exactly what is so urgent that it requires such immediate answers? It's been relatively quiet.

Victim of the filtering system around here, huh? Wolfram and Hart kidnapped my wife. This guy was instrumental in helping them abduct her and take her to wherever she's being held.

"Baddies" is such a generic and exclusionary term and highly insulting to boot.

I see. The urgency is to be expected, then. I may have a way to help. Usual methods aside, I can pull a memory from someone's mind through touch. All it would take would be a bit of conversation to get his mind on the subject first.

The name is Sylar, by the way. Gabriel. Either way. I'm not that picky anymore.

It is insulting. No respect for the morally grey whatsoever.

I can get you that. He's tied down and going nowhere fast. By the time you get here, probably even will be awake. [Address] No concern for his welfare so if you have to scramble something, by all means.

I've heard of you. Name's Lindsey McDonald. Thanks for doing this.

It doesn't even allow for the possibility. You have to pick one or the other. I'm so sorry if I'd rather look out for my own interests rather than blindly following some specifically set and highly flawed ideology.

If he proves to be difficult, I just may take that allowance. I'm unsure exactly how much mental discipline may effect the ability to acquire memories like this.

Lindsey crap Someone's got to do something. Hardly about to leave it up to the impotent do-gooders who'd rather talk the problem to death.

The White Hat Code of Conduct. I'm with you on that one. I've never been that good at picking a side or following its rules. Or wanted to.

I don't know if it'll help but he's been through a few rounds of interrogation. He's not the most focused at the moment.

Just wait until a moral debate gets going.

I've tried. In the end, they both just turn themselves into hypocrites while deny it all the while. Better to just admit to hypocrisy when it comes and do whatever suits the situation.

It should make things easier. Disorientation tends to loosen tongues.

You'll probably be subjected to one after this. You'll be lucky of the Claires don't flay you alive. But either way.

I'm on my way. Shouldn't take more than fifteen minutes.

It's an attitude that gets things done quicker. I'm a hypocrite and proud of it. Credit where it's due, there's a few on the so-called "good guy" team that are likeable. They used to be very annoying. Some still are.

He's definitely disoriented.

I'm used to it. Comes with the enjoyment of pissing people off and being a lawyer.

All right. He'll be awake and ready.
