Paradiso

We've had so many people coming and going lately that I figured it might be a good idea to check in and talk about some of the bigger community projects that were in progress and figure out who's in charge and where they stand.

I know Sara's been mostly overseeing work on the Community Center. Who else is helping with that building effort and how far along are we? From what I understand, we intended it to be a communal area to store supplies, serve as a temporary shelter for new arrivals, and hopefully function as a kitchen for the group as a whole.

We also were working on digging and laying pipes for a sewage and plumbing system. Tony was spearheading those efforts, so we'll need someone else to take that project over now that he's gone.

The Medical Center is in pretty good shape, though it will need plumbing added when we have the sewage system done. And hopefully the gods will give us actual lights and things at some point since we have the electricity run in the building.

Is there anything else we should be thinking about as a group?

This place is like one of them fancy whore houses on a core planet...minus the Alliance looking to arrest a fella in the middle of a good time. This bed is heads and shoulders more comfortable than my bunk on Serenity. And there ain't no Jayne.

My boobs are like really ginormously big. I think I'd feel sexy because of that if my belly wasn't even bigger.

Okay, let's try this again with 100% less death threats, please. I'm Lynne, I'm 28, and I'm a bartender by trade. Prior to that, I was a cosmetologist for several years and I had some people mention to me in my last post that they would be interested in trims.

So. Ruby, is it? That has the shears? If I could borrow those, that would be amazing, and if anyone wants a haircut, let me know. Do we have combs as well? Because if I'm going to boast that I'm a hairdresser and I'm going to be cutting hair, I'd like to, you know...have some precision with that and without a comb, preferably semi-fine toothed, then I can't guarantee that.

I know I can't do a whole lot to contribute to like the building efforts or whatever, but I can cut hair. And I've been working on the coffee bean shucking, so...you know. I'm trying? That's a start, right?

You know, what we need is a way to get water from the waterfall into camp. You know, plumbing of some sort. There's gotta be someone who has the smarts to do that. I'm not wild about walking into the woods in the middle of the night to take a piss.

Hey guys. Sorry to bother you but I've been really concerned about Malia lately. She's been getting sick more often than seems normal, and I know that nausea is a common side effect of being pregnant but she's been getting sick a minimum of three to five times a day. Which means she's not holding a lot of food down, which means that she's not getting the nutrition that she needs. Which means that the baby isn't getting the nutrition that it needs and I told her that she was fine but I don't actually know, I didn't want her to panic because it's my job to panic and I'm panicking, I'm panicking

Is there any reason for this? Is there anything I can do? She can't be holding enough fluids or food for herself, let alone for the baby, and I don't know what's going on. I don't know what to do. Please tell me what to do
