	He's doing a little better. He's come a long way since Alastair was killed. It takes a long time to come back from where he's been, but he's been smiling again, laughing, joking and playing. ~~That gives me hope.~~ He's gonna just get better from here. How are you, Sammy? It might be if I wasn't so sure that the man I married wasn't still there. John's been through a lot, he's survived more than anyone else could have, tried harder than anyone else could...

I knew from the first moment that he was still John. It's not something I can explain as much as I felt it...so it's not been hard, in fact, not being with him now would be the hard thing.

I like Faith. She's a good woman. And I like seeing you both around more.

I can imagine. You can argue it's not fair all you want, but at the end of the day Dean and John are your big brother and Dad. They think that their job is to help you out, and I think more than a little bit has to do with them not wanting to spill all the details to you for fear it will make you think less of them. I guess they figure you know the main details, and that the little ones aren't ones you need to worry about. I know it's hard, Sam, and it seems silly, but they're stubborn Winchester men.
