He was very grateful for the being rescued and everything, but they still needed to talk. Jacen was feeling somewhat tired still, even with the Jedi abilities helping him to recover. He had been kept awake for days with those annoying shocks and drugs in his system, and he couldn't deny that holding onto his family as he walked wasn't just about wanting to feel them close, it was also about being able to walk in a straight line. Still, their room at the Hyperion was close, the sweet feeling of being home.

Jacen let out a relieved sigh as he opened the door to the suite he shared with Tenel Ka, moving to sit on the couch which right at that moment seemed like the most comfortable place in the world. He grinned at his wife with the characteristic Solo cheekiness.

"Have I told you lately that you're brilliant?"

His gaze shifted to his daughter, who was, he grudgingly admitted, older than he liked to admit. "And you're brilliant too. Now start explaining."

Tenel Ka pretty much had steadfastly refused to let her husband go since she'd gone into that room and found him hooked up to all sorts of things, drugged, someone had drugged him.

"You have said it occasionally yes, but I will never dislike hearing it." she told him leaning her head against his own and looking at the older, future version of Allana as Jacen spoke to her. Well that would be about kissing the Winchester boy then.

Allana meanwhile had done the wide eyed deer in headlights thing she'd perfected long ago. She was in her mid twenties and still her Dad could make her feel like she was ten, and her mother, her mother was kriffing amused by it. Her family were weird.

"Explaining what...Ben's...a friend, who...kissed me. There's nothing to explain and he's a perfectly nice guy. He's not going to mess with me or anything, mostly cause he's well aware I'd kick his ass."

Tenel Ka raised an eyebrow, her daughter said 'ass'. Since when.

...was that the young Winchester's influence. Would he teach her words like that when he got here?

This was confusing.

Allana meanwhile tried to change the subject.

"So, kidnappings...we need to stop making a habit of it..."

Jacen slipped his arm around Tenel Ka's shoulders, tugging her close as he watched his daughter try to not babble as her eyes widened.

"He's a Winchester. I'm not saying I dislike the family, but no one can deny that trouble just follows them and Ben flirts with everything in a skirt in a manner that isn't entirely unlike your grandfather," he looked pointedly at his daughter, knowing well what the younger smuggler Han Solo had been like, with many many girlfriends and only the Falcon as his true love.

"And don't try to change the subject, I'm perfectly experienced when it comes to kidnappings so I can absolutely handle it and what do you mean we?" his tired brain caught up to the choice of words and he paled. "How often do you get kidnapped when you get here?" And by who? And how much could Jacen kill them now before they tried?

Allana had had this conversation in the future many many times, of course then she and Ben actually had been just friends and she had been able to put that across to her father. But now...now she was suprised he hadn't killed him yet.

But comparing him to her Grandpa.

"...And he wound up with Grandma and everything worked out well didn't it. All the scoundral stuff maybe had to happen to make him the man he became. And much as he flirts Ben's a good guy, and somehow you know that. You know he is and you just don't like that its me."

Tenel Ka had been quietly amused throught, her girl had a point. Jacen would not be happy with anyone dating his child let alone someone he compared to his father, and yes there were similarities, but that was no bad thing.

Though she backed Jacen entirely on the kidnapping discussion.

"Kidnapping..."

Allana shrugged in a very very annoyingly Solo way.

"Not that much...just...situations do happen where sometimes, I'm held against my will...for...a while. I always get rescued. Ben says I'm Daphne...which of course means nothing to either of you. But its fine. I'm fine..."

Jacen glared pointedly at his daughter, who was reminding him more and more of her mother by the second, with her stubborn ways and annoying tactic of twisting what he said to a completely new form of sense.

"He's still a horrendous flirt and, yes, a scoundrel and so much trouble and..." admittedly, maybe someone who had risked his life to save his family and made sure Allana was alright and someone she had, it appeared, all but grown up with.

Didn't mean he had to like it.

He pursed his lips slightly and glanced at his wife, sensing her feelings through the Force. "You're supposed to be on my side on this."

Though she was agreeing on the kidnapping thing, obviously.

"You should be more careful," he told her, in a way that was of course entirely hypocritical for a man still recovering from his own latest kidnap. "And explain this Daphne that Ben says you are?"

Tenel Ka couldn't deny it was adoreable how insistant that Ben Winchester was so much a scoundral. Jacen was by no means his father, aside from a brief flirtation with the pretty blonde scientest Danni Quee he'd only had eyes for her all of his life. But Ben had been there for Allana, it seemed as long as they had known each other.

"I think he seems a very nice man and if Faith and Claire Bennet and Mary Winchester are any indication, the men of that family know well how to treat a women."

Allana was going red, more than her hair.

"Daphne is this kids cartoon character who gets kidnapped like every five seconds in the episodes, any time a ghost shows up or anything it chooses to kidnap Daphne. So the running joke is I'm her. And just so you know Ben says that I should be more careful too. Like its my fault

They weren't so dissimilar.

Jacen's eyes widened slightly and he looked from his wife to his daughter and back again. "That is not the point and I'm not saying that John, Dean and Sam don't treat their women well, but that doesn't mean that there should be kissing of Ben Winchester." He looked pointedly at Allana. "You're too young for him. Far too young to be thinking of kissing boys."

Any boys. Especially womanizing boys.

Kriff he was getting a headache.

"But he is right about one thing, you should be more careful if you're getting kidnapped like that and he should be more careful with you and watch you more because he should know that you'll be getting into trouble."

Allana giggled, she couldn't help it, this was so like when she was a teenager and her Dad had gotten horrified at the very idea of boys near his little girl, but years on from that he really really had to stop. Though this Dad hadn't done any of it yet.

"Boy are you in for a fun couple of decades" she told him mischiviously.

Tenel Ka decided to ignore that. It was easiest. Was her daughter really that much trouble. Silly question, of course she was, came with the name after all.

"I must interject on the boys behalf Jacen, as someone else who followed a Solo around for a great portion of their lives, stopping you getting into trouble is hardly an easy feat. I'm sure Zekk or even Jagged Fel would have similar sentiments. Its like herding tantuans"

Allana loved her mother. She really really did. She resisted the urge to giggle but it was true. It really really was.

There were cells in the building next door. Big cells, designed to hold werewolves. Jacen was sure that one could be adapted to be a nice, comfortable place to keep his daughter, safely away from any boys.

Even as the thought crossed his mind, Jacen had to admit it was overkill. Just.

He gave an almost offended look to Tenel Ka. "It is not like herding tantuans," he frowned. "We weren't nearly so bad and you had fun when we were kids, admit it."

In between the various kidnappings. Maybe. Well he'd enjoyed his childhood with her.

"Tell him that if he even so much as thinks as doing anything that might hurt you, I will hurt him far more," he looked sternly at Allana, as close as he would ever come to surrendering the point.
