Ianto hadn't expected to run into Jack here. Nobody had indicated they'd seen him, even if there had been people who knew him. For all he knew, Jack was still trapped under the rubble with Tosh and Owen. But there he was, looking the same as ever. So Ianto stood and stared for a long moment, wishing that he didn't look so awful, bruised with scrapes on his hands and face from the rubble and his left shoulder still sore.
But it was dark and he doubted his lover would notice just yet. So he just smirked slightly, biting back a laugh at the greeting. "You'd presume correctly, Captain Harkness," he said, addressing the other man in kind as he took his hand. But the formality couldn't hold for long and he really needed to reassure himself the other man was really alright.
Pulling Jack forward by the extended hand, he hugged him, reminded eerily of the exchange after Abaddon and Jack's death. "God, Jack," he said, "I was so worried." He pulled back, looking into Jack's eyes, before leaning forward again and kissing him.
