Castiel looked closely at Sam, taking in just how much of a mess the Winchester was. He hoped Ruby was getting a good, long look at her handiwork.

"Going for the quick fix again then?" His voice was calm rather than accusing, looking at Sam as though he was merely a curiosity to be studied.

"You think killing her will make all of it better? Or are you just afraid to face up to what you really need to do, make things right with the people who love you, the people you hurt."
