WHO: Castiel, Ruby, Sam Winchester, Faith Lehane, Claire Bennet (future), John Winchester and Dean Winchester
WHAT: Beware your sins will find you out. Especially when an angel's involved. Did Ruby and Sam really think they could last forever?
WHEN: 24th June- late night (slightly forward dated a few hours as time zones are a bitch!)
WHERE: The warehouse from last night
RATING: High. High. And y'know, high!
STATUS: In progress
The planning had to be exact. Every last detail thought of, every scenario prepared for. They'd only have one shot at this, Castiel knew that. If they blew it, he knew there was a good chance they could all lose Sam and Ruby for good.
His day had been busy, readying the space, carefully painted devil's traps drawn with care and precision. No matter what she would try to do, the instant Ruby walked into that warehouse she would be trapped and nothing she could do would allow her to free herself. And such prisons were Castiel's specialty. Drawing them out had taken all day and all of his focus.
Or had he just been so focused so he could avoid any questions from the others gathered here, waiting. He hadn't told them anything, not one detail. He couldn't. There just weren't the words. Sam was drinking Ruby's blood, for the power. He was letting his humanity be corrupted by a demon's blood. How could he ever explain that? This was something that had to be seen, shown how far things had fallen. The angel still felt sick at the news. It was perverted and wrong. Against everything he believed in. And it had to end, tonight.
He looked around at the rest of the group gathered there to wait for them. John and Dean Winchester. Castiel's heart broke for them and he prayed to anyone listening that they'd be able to cope with what Sam had done. Claire Bennet, a source of strength for him in the past and he hoped a continuing strength for Dean after tonight. And Faith Lehane, standing there, her arms folded as she glared. Castiel truly did not know how she was going to react to the truth.
"I'm sorry," he spoke aloud to everyone. "I'm just, so sorry."
