Who: Ruby, Sam Winchester, Castiel What: Caught out. Where:A Warehouse When: 23rd of June, Rating: High, usual blood shenannigins Status: In Progress
She'd left as soon as he called for her, even grabbing a brand new hex bag from the side table by her bed, she'd been working on a few the night before, stronger ones for when she brought him to Wolfram and Hart, got him home, She slipped it into the back pocket of her jeans without a thought and left for the meeting place, just a warehouse downtown, nothing special, just like all the other various places they'd meet, this one though decided on the spur of the moment because he needed her, because he hadn't come last night when she thought he would. He'd stayed with Faith, risky, but he'd gotten through it, until now, he had called her, the need evident in his voice.
The little blood he'd taken in her kitchen had been a tease more than anything and the flask was empty even now.
It took her maybe fifteen minutes to get to her destination, fifteen minutes in which all she could think about was how close she was to finally making this happen, Castiel had insisted he believed Lilith dead in all dimensions, because it had been the Colt that had killed her, but that was impossible, because it had to be, because Azazel had come here, and he had been dead, by the Colt. It was why she hadn't stepped up in defence of Lilith, why she'd let her die in this place, a death here was meaningless when not in the sacred site of the nunnery Azazel had found, where he was. And thats where she would ask the firm to drop them, and it would be so simple, Sam would do it, kill one of the minion demons, drain them, and then kill Lilith and open the door.
She'd give him as much as she could tonight, so much he wouldn't think to question her when she said she had something to show him tomorrow, he'd still be buzzing from the blood in her veins, Thats how it had to be, a little unfair on him but he'd understand, they all would.
She waited in the warehouse, knife already in hand, she knew how this went, he'd drink, she'd fill that flask, he'd sit with her till she was strong enough to leave and that was when she'd insist he meet her here tomorrow. Actually, as it happened they weren't that far from the address the firm had given her, just an unassuming building they said they could do the spell in. She would be ready to fight if they were betrayed but she had explained just what they'd be gaining out of this, how powerful an ally. How could they refuse? And she had to take the risk, she had no other choice.
