Ruby waited, giving them long enough that he could give her that, what she felt she needed. Her being there, she respected Castiel's faith enough not to mock it by standing there watching for something she knew should be private.
She wished there was some way he could understand her own faith, almost wished she could tell him, ask him to stand with her, help her, there'd be no margin for error then. But she couldn't.
She held a few towels in her hand as she knocked lightly on the door with the other.
"You done?" she asked.
There was no sense pushing it, the girl, the girl she remembered being would not appreciate it, and she didn't have long left.
Margareta nooded weakly, thankful to Castiel, hand still in his.
"Thank you, for this, for...convincing me to talk to her, for the last weeks, Thank you"
"Come in" she said, raising her voice a little as another coughing fit took her, this one bringing up blood.
Ruby moved quickly sitting on the other side to Castiel and laying one of the flannels across Margareta's forhead. She didn't say anything to him, she didn't think she needed to.
