WHO: Kitty, Lockheed and OPEN
WHAT: Old friends reunited
WHERE: Hyperion rooftop
WHEN: Night, day can be anytime this week. Whatever works best for anyone who wants to tag in.
RATING: Probably low.
STATUS: Incomplete, but can function as a narrative
Lockheed had been inconsolable after he lost Kitty. SWORD had offered him transportation to his homeworld, but he couldn't risk not being around if she came back. But after several weeks, he had lost hope of ever seeing his best friend ever again. He could go 'home,' of course, but what would be the point? It felt like he would never be happy again. The planet on which he'd been hatched was no longer his home- his home was wherever Kitty was.
The students had started to call him Puff the Emo Dragon.
So, when he found himself in some other city, he hadn't panicked. It didn't matter where he was, any place was as empty as any other now that he was alone. He'd simply hidden during the day, and done his best to stay unseen at night, and hunted rats, small birds and other vermin by night to feed himself. It made him really miss the sushi Kitty used to bring home just for him.
That was what he was doing now, and he'd just caught the scent of a bat flying between buildings when he caught another scent. A very familiar one. Could it be? With an excited screech, he dove down towards the source. It was her! It was his Kitty!

Kitty hadn't had a chance to get to know too many other people at the Hyperion. She spent most of her days listening to police scanners, searching news stories and hitting as many books as she could find. Her nights were spent on the street, doing her part to decrease the city's threats.
And some nights, like tonight, her patrols were uneventful, and she came back restless and unable to sleep because of that "unaccomplished" feeling. On those nights, she'd head up to the rooftop, phasing through doors and occasionally even ceilings to avoid waking anyone else up with her movements. And she'd look up at the sky, trying to spot a star or two through the LA smog. After spending as long as she had hurtling through space, she found herself looking up a lot, she wasn't sure why.
A familiar hawk-like cry startled her out of her introspection. It sounded just like- wait, was it? It was!
"Lockheed!" she cried out happily, holding out her arms to wrap them around the little dragon when he flew up to her, cradling him in her arms like one would a cat. "I thought I'd never see you again! I missed you so much!"
It was a happy reunion amidst a storm of upsets and confusion.
