"LAX."
The station announcement came over the intercom as the train pulled in. More passengers loaded on, excited as they returned from holidays from all sorts of destinations. Faith thought she could smell several places from all over the world on the people as they entered, children fussing as their parents tried to calm them. Despite being underground and safe from the suns killer rays, Faith wore a pair of black sunglasses as she sat back, leather clad legs crossed neatly in front of her, with a corset laced just tightly enough that it would make people question if she was even breathing at all. A long leather trench coat, despite the heat, completed the look. Death. Really helped with the fashion.
Being in this city was starting to grate on her nerves. Sure, it had it's upsides, like living with the Antichrist. That was pretty fun, even if it seemed as though he was the latest to be switched over. But it was irritating being here without Angelus and the boyfriend here wasn't quite in the same league as her vampire lover. That boyfriend. Faith's lip curled angrily. He'd had the nerve to actually turn her down and was running around town smelling like the rotten eggs girl rather than her other self, who he claimed to love. Faith severely doubted that. Because while there were undoubted differences between her and her other self, one having fangs and the other a soul for starters, they were also essentially the same person. And she knew she wouldn't stand for her boyfriend stinking of another bitch. So maybe it was time to send a definite message about who she really was.
She waited until the train was neatly between the stations, deep underground, before she stood up, striding over to the emergency brake and pulling it sharply. As the train lurched to a halt and the passengers jerked almost off their seats, they looked up to glare at the strangely smirking woman, looking around at them all. Calmly, as though she had all the time in the world, she took off the sunglasses as her features shifted, eyes turned gold and fangs growing out. Screams began to fill the carriage as the humans realized they were trapped with a monster.
The first few she bit, fangs piercing the neck as she drank deeply. The sharp scent of fear was delicious to her, and made the blood that extra bit tangy. But even a vampire had to watch her figure and before long she'd drunk her fill and there were still screaming, living people on the train.
Those she just killed. Necks were snapped, hearts ripped out of chests, a couple she even staked, leaving the wooden weapons in their chests. A fun little private joke between her and Buff. When it was finally done, and the only screaming that could be heard was from the horrified next carriage looking in, Faith stopped, stretching languidly. She glanced over her shoulder at the terrified people separated from her by a fragile door, and blew them a mocking kiss.
Then she got to work. Plucking out one of the still blood filled hearts, she dipped her finger in and began tracing the message on the windows of the train.
Lost your faith yet?
Once she was satisfied with it, she smeared some blood over her lips like lipstick before carefully kissing the window just after her message, leaving behind a perfect lip print. A mocking parody of sealed with a kiss, especially for the boyfriend. Smiling contentedly, she nodded before almost skipping over to the door and ripping it open. She hummed to herself as she sauntered off down the tunnel, leaving her grotesque handiwork behind.
