Anyone within a five mile radius of the hospital's power was knocked out by a static surge! (effect lasts for 10 minutes)]
Darkside is everything. Slavery is Freedom is slavery freedom. Compassion is Cruelty.. "There we go. Don't you feel better now? You'll feel even better once you take your medicine.." the voices of doctors were above him but he wasn't really paying any special attention. His eyes were starting to open and the sterile whiteness of a hospital forced them shut again.
"Nn.."
"I think he's responding..but that isn't possible, there was no cure for hemlock poisoning." A male voice said to a baffled female who began checking vitals. Touching him. Pressing her fingers against his wrists and neck checking for a steady pulse. Virgil lowered his arm and his eyes focused to the light. To the right a heart monitor beeped slow and steadily. A hospital? That didn't make sense. It wouldn't matter for much longer. He'd wait for the doctors to finish, and then they'd be dead. Just like the rest of them. Just like Ravager would be once he got out. His skin was laced with beads of sweat as he watched with dull bleary eyes.
"Static? Can you hear me?" The male again. "Can you hear me?" He repeated. Did he think he was deaf? The kid felt for his mask. It was still on his face. That would make this easier. Doctors watched on with worried looks as he began to sit up and tore the monitoring equipment away from his chest and arms. "You'll just aggravate the poison if you move." So that's what happened after the match, those guards poisoned him. That had to be it. Rage boiled inside. The fluorescent lights above them shattered in the room, and a powerful electric surge caused a blackout.
"You can't control me.." Static reached for his gear as lights fell from the ceiling and broke equipment. Sparks flew and smoke rose. Fixtures fell ontop of the doctors in his room and electrocuted them with the help of his power. The scent of burnt flesh and blood started to fill the halls and attract attention. Panic swept the hospital. Everything within a five mile radius was dark. Street lights stopped working and ran through the colors causing confusion. A gloved hand reached for his flying disk and a cruel smirk crept into his lips as he looked at the two blood soaked doctors. "You should get that checked out."
The glass windows to his room broke and shattered with ease. Static flew into the sky. A trail of electricity behind him.
