He nodded slowly in understanding, arms crossed on the table. "Most of the department heads are happy to stay where they are and eager to please. As much as I disagree with him, there's a few policies from the old regime that work better. Maybe it's the morally grey stance over the straight up evil."
With the knock that signified the arrival of dinner, Lindsey leaned back. The smell of the food set his stomach off again and he sat up a little straighter, fingers itching to grab the fork as his plate was set in front of him.
"Huh. Penthouse delivery service and a table. The surprises just keep coming."
