They'd been suprised on reception when Eve had informed them that Lindsey was to be let in. She figured he'd get as far as the lobby and wait for her, but she'd figured wrong, this was Lindsey after all.
She'd dressed to impress, she wouldn't deny it, colors she knew he liked on her, tight without being slutty, showing off her figure, and the shoes. It was of course all about the shoes, the latest Gucci.
She had wine chilling in the living room of the penthouse and a gourmet meal being prepared. It wasn't a seduction exactly more a reminder of what he'd given up, all the little things he'd miss.
She got the call to say he was on his way and made her way out the lobby to greet him, but of course he wasn't there. The door to the office was open, the office that had been his and Eve moved as silently as one could in designer shoes, leaning against the door unable to resist a smile.
"Suits you" she told him honestly. It did.
"Miss it?"
She hoped he wouldn't lie to her, she already knew the answer.
