Jack had actually been at work when he spotted the familiar figure. Well to be fair, he spotted the floating stuff above her head first. He was passing through the park on foot to get back to his car he'd left in the lot when he stopped to her side. "Better becareful TK, think too much harder and smoke might start comin' from your ears."
He looked much better than he had the last time they physically saw eachother. He wasn't nearly as depressed as he had been back then, his face was lighter these days. His eyes actually seemed to have life to them.Around his neck there was a badge, and at his waist a blaster. He refused handguns, blasters were so much more efficient. Things were going decently for Jack, aside from getting a little lonely. There was the Ruby thing that worried him though. Lately he wondered about her and Sam after the argument he and Ruby had over the boards, but it was probably nothing. Still he wondered how anyone could be friends with someone who would talk like that. Not like he had actually told Sam what she said to him, the things she'd said. Maybe that would change soon. Sam knew her better than he did though, so maybe he should just leave it alone. Was it really his place to tell Sam he didn't like his friend, didn't trust her?
