Lindsey dropped the fry he'd just picked up and slid the plate aside, leaning forward with his arms crossed on the edge of the table. His posture was relaxed but his expression gave nothing away, except for the glint of something in his eyes. "The Senior Partners would bring you back to be their represenative. You were a loyal employee until we met. But I doubt that they would approve of us associating given what happened last time unless you either know a new trick which keeps them from watching and listening in or they want you to be in contact with me for some reason yet revealed.
"So unless I tell you what you or they want to hear right here today, I know there are going to be games. I say this is our pre-game handshake and let the best man win." He smiled coldly.
