Who: Princess Azula and Xander Harris What: Azula being reflective?? Where: A reasonably quiet streach of beach. When: Late Friday Evening Rating: TBD Status: In Progress
The Fire Princess, the one that had befriended many of the cities villans and abandoned their plans when they failed to suit her, the one who had attacked the young Avatar beneath the Earth Kingdom back home, the one who had used Zuko's friendship and honour against him in their last battle. Their Agni Kai. Azula who had lost her mind to betrayals she had never expected and a loss in battle to a traitor of a brother and a waterbending peasent. Azula had a deep dark secret known to few, Azula liked coming to beaches, late at night, simply to relax, simply to have time to herself. It reminded her of possibly the last time she had truly been happy.
There had even been a boy. A kiss. Though that had gone nowhere. He'd thought she was crazy. She didn't understand why of course. She had simply stated facts, They would have been the strongest couple in Fire Nation History. They would have dominated the earth.
Ty Lee had told her later that perhaps the first kiss was not an appropriate time to declaire him her intended consort but then what did she know.
Azula missed her friends. Traitors or not. She missed them here.
She sighed and cast a disc of blue flame into the sky watching as it danced and twirrled in the air before vanishing.
Like everything else. Everything she had that had vanished. She deserved better. Deserved more.
She jumped to her feet and started to call her lightning. Kumiko had at least been useful in restoring her mental balance. At least as much as she could not having had a great deal of mental balance herself. But Azula was not crazy. Not some insane ranting babbling wreck. She had just been, ironicly, rather badly burned by those she thought she could trust most of all.
