Elisabeth hissed at his 'no friends' remark, more hurt than pissed now. She hated using her telepathy without permission, but sometimes you couldn't help it. Not the best excuse, but one none the less.
"I was still there for you, you git," she spat through gritted teeth, arms tightening around her body to the point of her knuckles turning white. She tried to remain calm, to not let her body shake with visible emotion, but her eyes betrayed her and she couldn't keep the malice from her tone of voice. While everyone else abandoned Saint John, Elisabeth held onto some small hope that he had his reasons. In hopes of making up the mind invasion to him, she let him see her own memories, how more than once she defended him to the other students, but it was the only line of thought she kept open to him. And she did begrudgingly apologize, telepathically speaking to him to indicate she was sorry for invading his thoughts. [Sorry...] She went to say more, but stopped and cut the connection off.
Without saying another word, she waited to see how he'd take her revelation.
