Who: Barbara Gordon and Gabriel Gray
What: Planes, cloaking devices, and deception.
When: Tuesday afternoon
Where: Edwards Air Force Base, Hangar
Status/Rating: Incomplete/TBD
Babs knew that Gabriel wasn't stupid. As she tied her hair up in a ponytail while she waited alone in the hangar with her (well, Zinda's) new toy, she was preparing herself for the possibility that the wheelchair wouldn't throw this one off like it normally did. The chair was useful in that respect. She'd had people looking for Oracle walk right up to her and turn their nose down at her because she couldn't walk. Their loss, her gain. Babs wasn't complaining. The problem was, Gabriel wasn't your average person.
She'd told him to come here knowing that there was he possibility he'd figure it out. The thought of it simply made her shrug, not the response she would have normally had. It was possible that the fact that she'd been communicating with him for so long over the computer and keeping tabs on his organisation ha her feeling slightly more lax and trusting than usual. It was possible that she'd just honestly been looking for a reason to get out of the clock tower once again. It was possible she just needed to talk to someone who didn't run around in spandex in kevlar for once, even if she had to do it by some sort of deception.
Whatever the reason, Babs waited, alone aside from the plane, for Gabriel to enter the hangar.
