Who: Jared Nomak & Francis Hamilton
What: Jared kills a bad vampire but meets a good one
When: Late evening
Where: Street
Rating: R; violence
Jared had headed out that evening for one purpose, the purpose of killing a vampire but he would find something more then that. His bloodlust was at its zenith when he found his nocturnal victim. It was a male about thirty or some clad in an original part of jeans and t-shirt. He hardly looked like someone who was a threat, even as he stalked a young man just ahead of him, but neither did the rag dressed vampire stalking him. Jared watched him with all the hungry of a ravenous tiger lurking in the high grass just waiting for the right moment to pounce on a follow predator.
The vampire suspected he was being followed, being of some age then the usual creature of the night. He paused in mid-step but before he could turn completely Jared leap upon him, both crashing to the hard pavement. They wrestled furiously as both tangled for the dominance in the struggle. It seemed Jared had the win, raining angry blows down on him one after the other until he was dislodged from his mastery and threw down on his back. The vampire was now enraged that his meal had been disturbed, flashing his ‘game face at him’ like that would scare him off. Jared allowed his own ‘game face’ to surface, veins rippling across his sickly hued flesh and eyes because silvery in color while his scar quivered. Then the scar slid open, making his jaw pull into two pieces.
By now the vampire was backing down, he had never seen anything quite like this and he was rather shocked. Jared grabbed the vampire, sinking his teeth into the neck of the monster that would have surely killed the prey it hunted. When the act was done, he cast the body aside. He stared down at the mess he had created, he was half tempted to let it be resurrected by the virus and run amok like before but he halted that thought. He had made a promise not to harm human lives. So he drew from his coat a wooden stake and plunged it into the vampire’s heart, instantly it crumpled to dust beneath him.
