Elisabeth was drawn like a moth to bright light, listening with her lips drawn into her mouth. How eerie it was to realize what similar pains Spike and her had gone through. Without warning, she leaned forward and threw her arms about his neck, hugging him in a quick fashion so he couldn't object or throw her off. When she pulled back, she brushed her lips against his cheek. "I can almost relate. I'll tell you on the way, yeah?"
She threw down enough to cover the tab, plus a small tip before following him out the door. Whatever possible doubts she had early upon seeing the things in his head, were gone. Elisabeth fully trusted Spike now.
Linking her arm in his whether he liked it or not, she let herself do the talking now. "I never wanted to go back home when I arrived here. Of course there are loved ones I miss, but thus far, I've been doing well enough here. But sometimes...I wish Warren would show up. You're not the only one to die and suddenly be breathing again. And your Buffy is my Warren...I nearly died at the hands of Sabretooth and in order to save my life, I entrusted a piece of my soul to Warren so that he could toss it into the Dawn. Aside from my twin, there is absolutely no one else I would give my soul to." She grew quiet to draw a deep breath and reflect on the incident. She was summarizing here, but surely, so had Spike. "We grew apart, though. The event changed me, changed him...shite went down, yeah?"
Clearing her throat, she gently elbowed his side. "So where is this way cooler bar at?"
