Warehouses. Why did it inevitably fall to warehouse-like buildings for things both evil and good? It was becoming LA's cliché, like evil laughter or white hats were to the general good versus evil fight. Not that Sarah was complaining, as it had made definite sense to do this offsite to confuse the vampiric Countess of Crazy if she tried to find them while they were doing this, but still. Something to ponder.
Looking around the very large space one more time, one end set up for those doing the ritual with the sword, the other set up for her and Anya, Sarah tapped her fingers to her lips. They looked ready, in every conceivable way, as everything they could need – and might need, no matter how small the likelihood – was set out, and everyone was milling about, waiting on a few more arrivals.
"I think Anya and I are ready to get started, you all," she gestured to the others, "can start in once everyone's here. Good luck, everyone," she said, tossing a reassuring smile at the others before wandering across the room.
In the corner was where'd she'd set up what looked a bit like the inside of a harem tent, what with fabric drawn across the corner (helpfully enhanced with magic to dampen noise from the other side of the room), huge pillows all about and candles made from some very strange – to Sarah – ingredients. But hey, it was a meditation that they all were depending on, she'd take anything the books in the library had recommended for it. Besides, the pillows just made sense, as this meditation was meant to be deep. She really didn't want to crack her head on the concrete if she fell over.
