Who: Alessa Gillespie and OPEN if anyone happens to be around
When: March 28th at around 10:30 pm
Where: Random sidewalk as Alessa's walking to her hotel.
What: Alessa does some inner soul searching in song format; deals with a mugger; and has someone try to convert her to Christianity. She deals with this all by singing a bizarre tune.
Rating: B for Bizarre! (okay, PG-13)
Status: Open to anyone who might be around, but works as a narrative.
The only way to describe these past few days was to describe it as complete and utter strangeness. For no apparent reason everyone was bursting out into song and dance; and even any written messages were in lyrical format. Much to Alessa's chagrin she found herself randomly bursting into short bursts of song around others. That was bad enough, but it was only made worse when the songs had to deal with death, suicide, feeling like an outcast, and hating authority (namely of the religious sort). Then she tried to keep a lid on her singing, but even when talking to herself she only sang to herself.
Being somewhat of a wanderer caused Alessa to do a lot of on foot exploring of Los Angeles. And with exploring came some inner soul searching. She was heading for the hotel when she found herself vocalizing her thoughts.
"Spiraling regression, I reflect upon the past to face the future. Direction; lost in a puzzling lapse of judgement."
She quickly looked around to see if anyone had heard her little outburst, but it seemed that the only people who did were people who didn't give a crap about some crazy woman singing. She quickened her pace wanting to get to her hotel room here very soon. At least before she started singing again. She decided she was going to keep quiet. Keep quiet, keep quiet, keep-
"Confusion slips deep into my consciousness. Pulling me so much further, than reason could ever withstand. My vision roaming through sound, as I listen to vivid colors. Juxtaposing fragments, for the sake of the greater whole."
Okay, that didn't work out quite so well! The black haired woman continued walking, passed by an alleyway, and didn't notice the would be mugger now stalking her. So perhaps it was some sort of gut feeling, or maybe just the urge in Alessa to do some sort of movement, but with the next line of the tune she twirled around, "Devouring information, facts to fuel the creative wars. In turn will give way to advancements unimaginable." The tune was heard by the guy who could only say, "Crazy bitch."
In a bizarre move, she raised up her right arm and lifted the guy up in the air much to his dismay and disbelief. "Left behind the false concepts of infinity/eternity..." She twirled around a couple of times, also causing the guy to be spun around, and yelling like someone who was about to be killed. "Looking down upon the waning gods, impious, a truly omnipotent view." At this she leaned her body forward, and tossed guy into a different alley. He hit a brick wall, and was knocked unconscious. Alessa didn't stick around.
"Birth of a new Hierarchy that will outlast the brilliance of the stars. There are those who speak against this prophecy. What Filth! What will their meager words mean when they become the
habitat of worms?" In this moment of strange irony she had come to a more populated area, and had sung that part right in front of a preacher.
"Ma'am, have you heard the good news about Jesus Christ?" He asked her.
She wanted to say that she had, but she was done with gods and their bullshit. Unfortunately what came out was, "Caverns in which the vermin shall play and procreate. This their lone purpose, at last. No, their criticisms mean little as this testimony manifests." She did give the stunned and confused looking guy a rather apologetic look.
"Well, that's...that doesn't answer my question, miss."
Alessa walked away. He followed her, and now she was a little annoyed. Once again she spun around and made her thoughts known, "Generation after generation, my name is ever more empowered. Beyond I say! Shall the echoes of greatness bring about avalanches to devour the opposers of this testament." All she wanted to say was 'leave me alone', but that was impossible in this bizarre situation.
"Listen, I think we should take you to a hospital. You're clearly not right in the head."
This caused the twenty-two year old to scowl, and want to scream at this man that she wasn't insane. "Those baneful, lecherous children of servitude! This evolution has already begun. Unbeknownst they shall stagnate in their satisfactory non-existence." The man reached for her, Alessa dodged, "What began as near breakdown has produced revelation. A flirting bout with insanity, or waking to grand realizations?"
He gave a confused look; Alessa shook her head. "I have gained so much more than I have ever lost."
"Did you lose some? Is this why you reject the love of Jesus Christ?"
She shook her head, and sort did some bizarre leaping away from him before spinning around to face him. "Do not judge me wearied or weak, I am psychologically beyond reproach." She watched for his reaction, and was met with an almost look of terror.
"If you need an exorcism. Just let me help you, alright? It's obvious that you've been possessed by one of Satan's own!"
For some reason Alessa was struck with an image of Ruby possessing her, and then bitching at people while eating french fries. She couldn't help but to laugh. "What is gone from me was
expendable, merely the last aspects of my humanity, of guilt, morality..." She looked at the man sadly as he stepped closer to her, but her distrust of religious leaders caused her to back away. "All traces gone!"
"Okay, I won't pressure you. Remember John 3:16!"
Oh wow, that verse. Why did people insist on using only that verse to convert people? Alessa looked at the guy one last time, and before dancing away, she sang, "Beware the dawn, for the next evolution has long since begun!"
