Who: Jared Nomak & Rogue What: Jared meets his first X-person. Where: Random park Rating: TBD but probably low
Jared known he should have been there to fight that Demon Alastair but he had feared his recent fall back into mental instability would have been others in danger. So he decided to step back but now he felt a deep regret building in the pit of his stomach for not helping them. Thoughts swirled in his mind; ones that were treachery and evil while others filled his heart with painful woe and only were only made worse by the agony of his virus and forced mutation. The agonizing vampire left the Hyperion for the night to explore, like he often did when things were hounding him.
After his usual vampire kill he found himself in the oddest of places. He had made his way through what he could describe as a park that broke into a clearing, revealing a swing set. To him it was a curious thing though he knew what it is. A sad truth was that he had never been allowed to have a childhood; his had been a series of tutoring and experiments that had transformed a ‘healthy’ vampire youngling into a monstrous creation that lived in an incessant state of pain.
Wary he approached the swings; his pallid digits lightly caressing the metal chains that held them up like a cagey child unsure of anything before finally deciding to get on one. Carefully he sunk his backside into one of them, testing the seat. His fingers wrap themselves around the chains and gently he pushed with his weight, forcing the swing back then forward until it moved on its own. For once in a lifetime he smiled contentedly, getting in touch with that little lost boy that was locked inside him. That was when he saw her and he froze though the swing continued to move.
