Group two - fighters
Straight into hell, Leah hadn't missed that part. If ever there was going to be a test for the youngest Slayer in the city, it was now. Especially since she the only Slayer there. There was that Nightwing she'd seen not that long ago, and some guy who, she was still mentally 'wowing' at, who had to be Superman. The only other person she recognized was Nathan and Claire, from the Hyperion. Leah had been learning faces fast, so she knew who they were, but she knew very little about them. Then there was the vampire she'd worked beside not that long ago, but the Slayer still didn't trust him. Nothing personally, she just didn't like many vampires. It was something she needed to work on, apparently.
Her red hair was pulled tightly out of her face, her weapons hanging on her belt at her hip. Green eyes took in the building they were going to be entering, how it was set up, points of exits that she could see. Her veins were pumping what felt like pure adrenaline, she was itching to get in there, to help end this. She just needed to wait on the magic users.
Finally, it was done. Leah blinked, her hands coming to a rest on her stake, always her favorite weapon. In her hand was her crossbow, a variety of arrows on her back. Pulling one out now, she locked it into place and secured it. It was time. "Everyone ready?" she asked, looking over her shoulders. She wasn't trying to take the lead, she just wanted to make sure. Because it was time to go in.
She waited to hear if there was anything else to be said, or any orders from maybe Nathan, before turning toward the building. Leah moved ahead first, crossbow and a variety of other weapons ready when needed. It was set in the ground, sunlight would be hard to reach inside during the day.
She knew they were there before she really saw them coming. Vampires, and quite a few of them, were taking orders here. As the vampires advanced toward them from the first signs of trouble, Leah's let loose her crossbow and fired, one of the front vampires falling to dust before it could even get close to them. Time to get the party started.
