Re: Group Three - Magic Users
This place officially gave Anya the creeps. And this was considering she'd spent many a century in demon dimensions and years on the Hellmouth. She swallowed hard, letting her mind creep to Xander a moment. They'd been put on different teams, something she both hated and appreciated.
Moment gone, she pushed him firmly from her mind. She had to focus, keep her attention on the situation and then get home to Xander.
She didn't even care if Sam Winchester didn't bother to thank her, again. This had to happen, Alastair had to be dead. So she stepped up next to Ruby, reaching out magically to touch the barriers in place. They were dark, tainted and made her shudder.
Her own eyes went black with magic and even some dark streaks began to appear in her hair as she began to call upon the energy that gave her her power, chanting in the language of Arashmahaar and the demon realms.
She could feel the strain of the power as she pushed against the barriers.
"Damn," she broke the chanting to speak through gritted teeth. "This is not good."
