With things as they were, Gwen really needed a friend right now. And Jack was the one person she somehow felt she could be completely honest with. Well almost completely honest with. And when he'd been taken away, she'd automatically felt scared. She'd just lost Owen and Tosh, turned up here and Owen was suddenly alive as was Suzie, and Jack was gone. It was really more than enough to shatter her completly, but she knew how to hold it together. Or at least attempt to.
Jack was from her past, and wanted to know about what had happened...or what was going to happen. But surely with him here there was less chance of it happening, so she knew that she could tell him. But she also knew she'd maybe need something stronger than a coffee. She waited until the Hub was quiet, the rest had disappeared somewhere, before she headed up and knocked on Jack's door.
