Entry tags:dahlia gillespie, gwen cooper, jack harkness, john hart, owen harper, suzie costello

WHO: Jack, Dahlia, and Torchwood [Ianto, Owen, Gwen, Suzie & John]
WHAT: Time to rescue Captain Jack, Torchwood Style.
WHEN: 18 February; Afternoon
WHERE: Dahlia's shop/church
STATUS/RATING: Incomplete/Guessing High-ish for language and fighting.

He was starting to lose track of the number of times he'd been killed over the course of the past week. The woman was utterly sadistic -- not to the point of the Master, but was getting pretty damn close. Jack was getting really tired of playing sacrificial lamb, no matter how good the banter was with Dahlia.

He was ready to get out of here.

The more time that went by, the more pissed off Jack became. Because he'd opened comm links with Suzie and she hadn't bloody come. He had been completely clear that this wasn't a trick, that he was in trouble. But why not Owen? Hell... where even was Ianto? (Jack, of course, not knowing that Gwen was here as well, but if he did, he'd be more than confused as to why she hadn't come barging in here)

Jack leaned his head back against the cool slab, eyes closing. This was getting fucking ridiculous and the bonds weren't loosening at all, no matter how Jack attempted to get slack into them.

Yes, when he got out of here -- there was a throttling in order. Starting with Suzie.

Dahlia was quite satisfied with how her plans were going. She couldn't have been luckier, encountering someone who could withstand injury without permanently dying.

The only problem was what she would do with him when she was through. She literally couldn't kill him, and she couldn't keep him tied up here forever, as fun as that might be.

Gwen was far from happy with this situation. Especially now that she'd been dragged from Cardiff to LA without much knowledge on what happened. Then some woman had thought it would be fun to take Jack. Well she had had it with this, she'd just lost Owen and Tosh and sure Owen was here, but what difference did that really make? She was still grieving. She was glad that they had decided to finally get moving, and she turned to them all, nodding a little.

"We get Jack back. No matter what."

She knew roughly where she was going, had got directions and everything, and was prepared to get Jack out safely. No matter what it took.

He nodded back to Gwen “No matter what…took the words right out of my mouth” The former time agent swaggered towards the group, his sinewy frame clad in his usual mismatched time period attire that hugged every one of his curves though somewhat he managed to walk flawlessly in his tight garments.

In his hands were his guns that he stuffed into his holsters, leaving them open in case he had to draw them out swiftly and didn’t have time to fool with the clips and his sword nestled on his hip. Clearly with the amount of weaponry he was carrying on his person, seen and unseen, he was prepared for war and if that meant killing he wasn’t hesitate to do so.

Suzie stood a little ways back from the group gun in hand and unable to stop a slight shudder at the last time she'd been around Gwen Cooper with a gun in her hands. She'd died that night for the first time and now was here to rescue the man who'd caused it all. The one who had recruited her to Torchwood in the first place.

She was only here because of Owen. Because of all of them he was the one she was willing to listen to and if she wanted to be part of the team again then she had to fall into line. For now.

She'd looked for the glove when the others had worried about Jack, of course she had, but she had had no luck in finding it, he'd hidden it well from her, of course he had. It bothered her being without it for so long.

"Yes of course whatever we can, lets sally forth and save the glorious leader shall we?"

She didn't have all day.

"And standing around here jabbing about it isn't going to get him back any faster," Owen snapped, drawing his gun from his holster as he looked between the lot of them. They weren't exactly the most effective rescue force in the world. They were more the smash and grab type in most cases. Delicate rescue operations were often mucked up in one respect or another, but Owen couldn't see any way that this could possibly get worse than it already was.

"Gwen, you take the lead with me. Suzie, you and John cover the rear. From the sound of it, there should only be the one woman there, but I'm not going to walk willing into a situation that could easily be an ambush without cover fire."
