The move to the Hyperion had been easy seeing as her and John didn't have much stuff. Just their clothes and other such essentials. It wasn't the same as the house, and she had this strange sense of missing that place and the people in it, but it would do. It was safe at least, as safe as anything could be. And despite the fact there was no Skynet, not specific threat to John, it was better when they were in a safe place, when he was in a safe place.
But as different things were here, as clear it was old enemies were not a threat, certain habits would never die. And as such she walked the halls of the Hyperion, checking any weak points in the building's layout, any spots that could spell trouble. Of course there was nothing there but she still checked. Ever day. A full sweep of the building, ending in the kitchen. She came to a stop at the counter and as her eyes settled on a bowl of fruit the nutritional value of each piece flashed in the left hand side of her display. Cameron reached and pulled an apple from the bowl and turned it over in her hands. The last time she had held an apple things had gotten a little messed up. She did not like feeling damaged, like a bomb waiting to go off.
