Gambit landed hard - and yes, it hurt - but he now wore a smile, in spite of himself. "De girl still has it," he thought to himself. He quickly got up on his hands and knees to face Psylocke, who he saw was now crouched in a battle ready position that he couldn't help but admire. Remy knew sexy, and there was nothing sexier than a beautiful woman ready to fight.
"Well, I know you, Lis'beth, and I'm guessing dis is exactly de kind of thank you you was looking for anyway." With that, he suddenly sprang at her - she was quick, but he was no slouch himself, and thanks to years of training together in the Danger Room he knew he was almost her equal when it came to hand-to-hand combat. He came at her at an angle, careful to avoid her psionic blades - he knew she wasn't looking to seriously hurt him, but that didn't mean she was going to hold back, and he sure didn't feel like experiencing those tonight.
He managed to tackle her, and the momentum sent both of them tumbling across the roof. When they came to a rest, he was on top of her, and he quickly pinned both her arms down and leaned down, placing his face a mere inch from hers. His grin grew wider.
"Or, tell me, was dere...somet'ing else you had in mind for tonight too, hmm?"
