Remy flinched as the psionic daggers nailed the wall beneath him, but just a little - he didn't really believe she was out to hurt him. He listened to her explanation for the summons, and sudden outburt. So that was it.
For a brief second, Remy felt a wave of relief - he had been worried that there might be a real emergency, that Elisabeth might be hurt. Now that he knew that wasn't the case, he allowed himself to relax just a little. Not too much, though, because he knew what he was in store for. He had seen her like this before, knew what she was like when she got this angry. He didn't know much about the guy she had been dating, but on the few occasions he had talked to her about it since he arrived, he could tell she was really falling for the guy, which meant her current state was going to be much worse than just your usual temper tantrum.
He hopped off the ledge and began walking a circle around her. He contemplated trying to talk to her about everything, but stopped himself. When she was in a mood like this, talking was not what she was after, and he knew it. He supposed it was probably best just to go along with her need to let off some steam. And besides, he could use the practice himself.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a brand new pack of cards - a deck that Psylocke had only recently sent him as a Valentine's Day gift, in fact. "So dis is how it's gonna be, huh girl? Dat's fine by me. I mean, I was gonna thank you for de gift, but I guess we can just skip de thanks and get right to trying dem out, hmm?" As he spoke, Remy had been charging up three of the cards between his fingers, and when he finished speaking he threw them down at the roof beneath her feet.
