Ruby threw a bottle opener across to Jo having opened her own bottle keeping her expression unreadable. She didn't know what to make of it, any of it, she'd given Heather a few home truths and hoped she dealt with it. But had she any right? A Demon. Sure she remembered what it was to be human but like she was so often reminding people, she wasn't human. Not anymore. Wasn't a topic she could really discuss with Castiel. He'd been human sure, but only for a few weeks, and cause of her. Also from what she remembered it was a definite woman thing. He'd left them to it soon after Jo had gotten here.
Jo who was her friend. She'd found herself wondering early in the day if her night out with Dean, her screening women for his much needed in her opinion, casual one night stand, went against some friend rule she wasn't privvy to. Was she supposed to be mad at Dean for ending it with Jo. She had heard why he did it and to her it made sense. He was putting Ben first. She found herself understanding the guy recently, maybe it was Alastair turning up, maybe their shared knowledge of him had given them a common ground they'd never had. Maybe it was Sam and what he'd done, the fact Dean couldn't claim she was in it to finish what Azazel started anymore. Whatever it was it confused her. Though she got confused at humans a lot lately. 800 years had changed what it meant to be human she supposed, and thats why this whole business confused her.
She finally spoke.
"Do people forget what I am...or...overlook it or something?" she asked "Don't claim to be anything other"
