WHO: Remus; Tonks later on WHERE: Lazarus Pits WHEN: Tuesday Evening WHAT: Remus does what he always does. Sneaks off and tells people after the fact. RATING: TBA, though I'm guessing highish for language... STATUS: Incomplete
Alright, so Remus Lupin lacked brains of any sort. If he had brains, he wouldn't have run off as he was and would have discussed his decision with Tonks before he did anything hairbrained. Like visit the pits.
Remus, however, never learned his lessons. And every time he attempted to discuss the Pits with Dora, he chickened out at the last possible moment. And so, that was why he was at the Pits, staring into the depths and wondering if he should. The thought of losing that integral part of him scared Remus to death. But at the same time? If it meant he could go without the monthly madness, he would. In a bloody heartbeat.
There was no going back. He had come this far. He couldn't go back.
Couldn't...
Closing his eyes, Remus lowered himself into the Pits. He could feel something running over him, could feel that other part of him slipping away until all there was, was nothing. His head reeling, clothes wet, he did the only thing he could think of. Taking a deep breath, he Aparated home, seeking out something to rid himself of the headache.
Not realising what other side effects were in store for him.
