WHO: Jacen Solo, NPCs and then Lilith/Lilin
WHAT: Kidnapping a Sith Lord.
WHEN: The night of the hunting
WHERE: Around LA
RATING: Highish for kidnapping and Sithlyness
STATUS: In progress
It was about time Jacen explored LA. Something out there was targeting children and nothing made him more angry than that. Some back home would have called him a monster for what he did, but the reality was he had done what had to be done. What no one else had had the strength to do. And it had all been to protect the children of his galaxy.
So he went looking for answers. Some of the demons he encountered tried to mock him for his lightsaber, their ideas about Sith Lords coming from those stupid Holos. He quickly corrected them, the red blade slicing through them with no resistance.
And, as promised, he kept his presence open in the Force, allowing Tenel Ka to feel him, and he her in return. It was odd, both a new sensation and completely not.
Still, he felt a slight greyness where she was as their connection weakened. A frown crossed his face as he turned, intent on heading in that direction to see where she was before he heard a scream, young and terrified. He rounded a corner and for a moment his heart froze as he saw the young redheaded child being attacked by demons.
Allana?
It wasn't her. It became clear the moment she raised her head in his direction, hope and pleading on her face. It wasn't his daughter. But she was still a child in need and, even if the sight of his weapon scared her as much as the demons, Jacen didn't hesitate to activate it, bringing it in a deadly arc down, through the attacknig demons. Within moments they were dead and Jacen turned on the girl.
"Go home."
She nodded, terrified, before running and Jacen again tried to focus on Tenel Ka.
Nothing. There was nothing.
There was no time for worry or fear as Jacen broke into a sprint, racing to the place where he had last felt his former lover. It took him little time, too much time to get there.
She was on the ground, unconscious. Someone had attacked her. He knelt next to her, gently picking her up before he spotted the dart and fury clouded his emotions.
Alema
He forced himself to breathe calmly before carrying her back to the Hyperion, even if in his mind he was imagining catching up with the trecherous Twi'Lek and ripping her to pieces. He entered the hotel, sending one simple command through the Force to anyone with even the slightest psychic presence.
Help her
Laying her carefully on the couch he turned, not wanting to stay, not wanting to wait while Alema was still out there. A gesture of trust to the Hyperion people, he left her in their care as he strode out of the hotel again, lightsaber in his hand, even if it was deactivated.
But his mind was unfocused, unable to move past the images of that little redheaded girl, Tenel Ka unconscious, all playing in his mind until the images blurred together in his mind. He was so focused on them that he didn't notice the beings approaching until they were right on top of him.
They weren't human, he could tell that much straight away, their presence in the Force too chaotic. Lilin. That was the name he took from their minds with little effort. The smiles were strange. And he was outnumbered, his own fault really, he inwardly cursed. So unfocused, no time to fight them. Just before he blacked out he threw his lightsaber to one side, away from his attackers, leaving it for Tenel Ka to find when she woke up.
