Ruby looked around the warehouse, Anya had prepared things earlier and was ready for the summoning, Ruby however was the first one to arrive for the actual attempt. She walked around looking at the space they had to work with and sighing, Dean she could understand even if she wasn't happy, but Faith and Heather. This wasn't a show for other peoples amusement, she'd liked it better when it had been her and Sam and another demon, spouting insults enough to get him all riled up. He'd made mistakes, he'd been having headaches, he'd still have those, she knew. But in the end he'd done it.
Thats why all Heathers bleating about being worried and thinking it was a bad thing to do was really starting to grate on her nerves. Oh she liked Heather fine, in another lifetime they might have been real friends if the demon was capable of it to such a degree, but here...Ruby needed Sam to accept what he was. She didn't think that was gonna happen here.
John had agreed to this and that bothered her too, why would he? So some nameless faceless stranger the Ethros had already taken over wasn't in danger. But then this was John Winchester. He'd surrvived posession by Azazel. Before giving himself up to the demon to save his boy.
She leaned against a back wall, her memories of warehouses to this point had been happier ones. For that matter she was glad Castiel had agreed to stay out of it. That could have gotten messy. He didn't always agree with her plans for Sam. But neither did he push their conversations that way. Blinded by her ambitions he had said once.
That wasn't right...was it...
Even as a mortal he could be insuffrable sometimes.
