Broken car upon car were piled atop one another, tilting at odd angles as they towered above the lone figure wandering through the maze of wrecked vehicles. The faded sign suspended ahead of him was tilted backward; however, the person walking toward it already knew what it said. Singer Auto Salvage. Sam Winchester was standing in the middle of the location that he had visited often before being dragged into Los Angeles. It was Bobby's place, where he and Dean would retreat whenever they needed help with a particularly nasty case. Sleeves rolled up, he turned to squint off at the old house behind him, wondering if Bobby was inside waiting for him. He had to be, right? Why else would he be here?
Sam got as far as a few cars ahead of him before someone started to call his name. The sound was coming from the house. He started moving faster. Reaching the door, Sam raised a hand to knock, but it flew open by itself. Normally, Sam wouldn't think much about it. But this was a dream. So he kept going, moving into the main room where, finally, he was able to see the person who was calling out for him.
A shock of blonde hair, cut short, arms pinned down to the chair that held her directly under the red circle drawn onto the ceiling. She lifted her head, black eyes rising to greet him. "I've been waiting for you," Meg said, a sweet smile crossing her lips, "didn't you miss me?"
Sam opened his mouth to respond but, just as it had happened the last time, something grabbed him by the shoulder and yanked him back. "You can get back to your demon later, boy," Uriel's deep voice echoed, "right now, we have someone else to visit." Before Sam could even turn back to look at the angel, he felt himself being pulled. Right from his dream and smack into another.
