Who: Ruby and Uriel What: He visits her in her dreams. This...won't be pretty Where: Ruby's cheap ass motel When: Late night Rating: ummm probs high Status: In progress
She found she actually missed Castiel at night now, she'd been sent away from the Winchesters, her demonic nature and the things she was willing to do for their younger son had bothered them, even the younger son in question. Maybe she'd gone too far with the virgin spell but it would have worked. There was no question
She'd gotten used to his presence, both Angelic and now mortal and found she was cold. Which of course was rich, her being what she was, but it was true.
But then Ruby was a contridiction. Her motel room had runes on the door frame, rock salt lining the windows, hex bags for various things in various srategic places, and a devils trap near the door that she broke every morning to leave the motel. She knew just how wrong she was, how wrong her very existance was.
Castiel and what they were doing should have been something the demon could easily walk away from, people were scared, talk of plauges and still, still she couldn't give him up, wouldn't let god take him from her too.
And Sam...
He could be so much more, such a Force for...
But he wasn't ready to take that step here, the things he had here, a family, Heather. It was good, and she was glad for him, she was. It just made it, harder when she couldn't just...
He was harder to convince, Not manipulate but convince.
Because she wasn't manipulating Sam no matter what that arrogant bastard said. Not the man she'd crawled out of hell for, the man she'd made Lilith trust her a second time for, the things she'd done to make the Queen Bitch give her a second chance.
She made herself a fugitive for Azazel's Boy King and he didn't care. Not beyond the fight with Lilith anyway.
The demon slept, but not peacefully, she didn't think that was possible at the moment.
