WHO: Allana and Tenel Ka WHAT: Allana's concerned for her mother. She decides to have a one on one chat to clear the air. WHEN: 3PM WHERE: a small cafe RATING: TBD STATUS: In Progress
Although Allana had no real proof, aside from a few snippets of conversations over the message boards, she couldn't seem to shake the feeling that something was simply... off, when it came to her mother. The woman was clearly struggling and, while her presence within the Force remained strong, it was also different. It just didn't have the same feel to it, that Allana was accustomed to sensing from the woman. Granted part of that could be due to Tenel Ka being a fair bit younger than she was in Allana's own time, but the young woman knew it was more than just that.
Not sure what the real issue was, however, made it all but impossible for her to try and help in any foreseeable way. So rather than make several well-intentioned but failed attempts to guess at what could be causing Tenel Ka so much issue, she opted to instead go directly to the source.
Oh, she wasn't going to out and out ask her, of course. Allana knew better. But a personal chat, with just the two of them would, she hoped, shed some light on the subject.
Arriving at the small cafe shortly before they were scheduled to meet, Allana chose a booth that faced the entrance while remaining out of the way. She had just finished glancing over the menu when the door chimed open and her gaze slid upwards as she waited to see if her mother had arrived. She doubted it'd be very long. Tenel Ka was nothing, if not punctual.
