Bella was still waiting on the tables, setting food down, trying to keep people calm even if she was inwardly panicking. She had talked to Edward, he was coming to get her. That was a relief. She wished Jake was here too, if only because with two vampires, and a werewolf, most of those around here wouldn't stand a chance. Then again, with either Alice or Edward around, they wouldn't. They were slower than her vampires, which granted, that was what she had started calling them in her head.
At the sound of Edward's voice though, she set the final plate down and hurried into the back to clock out. She had told the manager that once someone came looking for her, she was going to have to leave. Because there was no way Edward was leaving without her, she knew that more than anything. She finished clocking out and stuffed her apron and the like into her locker before she headed back out.
She released a soft sound of relief and made her way over to him, her fingers lightly touching his arm. Just that for now, because despite how afraid she was, she knew it wasn't too wise to cling to him in what could possibly amount to a time of danger.
