Who: Edward, Alice and Rosalie Cullen, Bella Swan Where: Various When: Right after the sun went away Rating: TBD Status: In Progress
Edward gritted his teeth as he wove in between traffic, driving faster than he knew he probably should be, even for him. There was only one objective to him at the moment, get Bella. The idea that the sun suddenly disapeared was not sitting well with Edward. Especially not here. Both Alice and Bella had mentioned something about the vampires not being like them, that they only came out at night. He was having visions of every horror movie he'd once laughed at. He had a sinking feeling that the LA vampires would probably not be on the same diet as his family.
Seeing the address Bella has given him he picked up more speed and somehow managed to park perfectly between two cars. Times of confusion and fear were always the worst for Edward. It was harder to keep the thoughts of others in the background. Fear and confusion had people literally shouting in his head, screaming out their worries. Every now and then he would catch a snippet of something that made him worry about Bella even more. It would seem Bella and Alice were right, the vampires here were nothing like them.
Edward pulled open the door to the store Bella worked at, trying to concentrate on the sound of her heart thudding in her chest instead of the voices screaming in his head. "Bella?"
